B.Ed. Admission through the Online Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) of Kannur University

Admission Procedure

  1. Registration: Candidates who desire to obtain admission for B.Ed. Programme in B.Ed. Colleges affiliated to Kannur University should compulsorily register through online by paying the prescribed fee.
  2. Application: Fill the online application form on the Kannur University website.
  3. Document Submission: Upload required documents, such as degree certificates and mark sheets.
  4. Rank List: University publishes a rank list based on candidates’ marks.
  5. Intimation: Based on the rank list, candidates will be intimated from the concerned  B.Ed. College.
  6. Interview: Attend interview sessions for seat allocation.
  7. Admission Confirmation: Pay fees, submit certificates and necessary documents and confirm admission.

In Private Self-Financing Colleges, 50% of the total seats shall be filled by the management from among candidates of their choice adhering to the eligibility conditions prescribed by the University. The candidates who wish to take admission under Management quota in a self-financing colleges should register through online. Candidate shall contact the colleges where the candidate wish to take admission and submit the print out of the online registration application form to the colleges concerned. The remaining 50% of the seats under Merit quota will be filled up on the basis of merit and by following the reservation policy of State Government.
Applicants provisionally selected for admission will be intimated to appear for an interview. Candidates must be accompanied by their parents or guardians during the interview.

Documents to be produced at the time of Interview

The following documents, in original, must be produced:

  1. Admit Card
  2. Printout of Application and Fee Receipt
  3. SSLC Certificate/CBSE Certificate
  4. Degree Mark List (three years/all semesters)
  5. Degree Original Certificate/Provisional Certificate
  6. PG Mark List (two years/all semesters)
  7. PG Original Certificate/Provisional Certificate
  8. NCC Certificate (if applicable)
  9. Conduct Certificate
  10. Transfer Certificate
  11. Nativity Certificate (if weightage is claimed)
  12. Community Certificate (if applicable)
  13. Income Certificate (if applicable)
  14. Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (if applicable)
  15. Eligibility Certificate (if applicable)
  16. Equivalency Certificate (if applicable)
  17. Migration Certificate (if applicable)
  18. EWS Certificate from Revenue Authorities (if applicable)
