National Education Policy 2020 recommended a restructuring of Teacher Education Programme in the country as a four-year Programme. Now the Government of Kerala has also started the preparatory steps necessary for adopting the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), aimed at transforming teacher education within the Kerala context. This integrated programme will attract outstanding students to the teaching profession.
