Two Year B.Ed. Programme
The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme is an undergraduate degree that focuses on preparing students to become teachers in schools. The duration of the programme is two years and includes Core Courses, Pedagogic Courses, Elective Courses, School Internship, and courses for Enhancing Professional Capacities (EPCs). During the B.Ed. programme, students may have the opportunity to get subject-specific teaching in their subjects like Mathematics Education, Science Education, Social Science Education or Language Education in the institution.
The Crescent B.Ed. College offers Two Year B.Ed. Programme (four semesters) with a total intake of 100 students (two basic units of 50 students) with equal distribution of seats for each optional subjects in English, Mathematics, Natural Science, Physical Science, and Social Science as presented below.

(A 10% reservation for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) shall be created over and above the total seat strength for all programmes in institutions that do not have minority status. This reservation will be subject to the directives issued by the Government from time to time).

Admissions to the programme is done as per the norms of the affiliating Kannur University and the NCTE. The curriculum design of the programme is also in tune with the guidelines of NCTE (2014) and Kannur University.
